The Great Movie Ride Pictures Printable

This was the first ride I ever went on at Hollywood Studios (then MGM) all those years ago. It's very nostalgic to me. Be sure to ride it a few times to see both Gangster and Bandits versions.
-
if you love movies, you'll love this ride. as a cinephile myself, i can't not tell you that i teared up multiple times on the ride...especially during the montage at the end
-
It is a great attraction related to classic and co temporary films. Not the best for little ones if they don't know, fantastic for adults. Aliens is great!
-
This is a great ride to rest and cool off on. Love re-living some of the classic movies. The ride does need to be updated. I think The Alien scene needs to give way to something else.
-
The trick to getting the western scene is this. The ride must be running two groups at once. The first car or group gets the western scene. The second gets the mob scene.
-
HIDDEN MICKEY: once in the boat, right before you pass underneath the sign, look to your left in one of the house's windows. You'll see a tiny silhouette of 3 familiarly cute circles :)
-
The greatest of all Hollywood Studio rides, the Great Movie Ride takes you inside of the movies! If you get a change, request to see the Bandit show for a very realistic explosion!
-
Fun ride going through some of the movie classics. Wait is usually short compared to some of the other waits for the rides in the park.
-
This is a great cooldown ride. It has movie clips and animatronics and is a good in between ride between your fastpasses.
-
Sit up in front for the best experience. No wait in evening so you can easily do it then. Great for film geeks. Animatronics are in the uncanny valley but worth seeing if rides aren't option at time.
-
A ride to show the movies from early times until today. A few live show is also included, but no big deal. It is fine to miss it.
-
Take it from a former Movie Rider: it does make or break your experience depending on your guide but you can't control it. The Cast Members aren't actors-they are just normal people!
-
The mix of animatronics and real actors gives this ride a special touch.
-
Unforgettable experience. This is a slow ride but made so good that you can enjoy all the best movie classics. Expect Fred Astaire's Dancing in the rain, Star Wars, Western, Indiana Jones and...
-
Idk why people are hating on this so much. It's a classic and makes you feel like you're in HOLLYWOOD. if you have an imagination you'll love. Everyone else, go away!
-
the bandit show is not rare nor can be seen "on demand". Awesome ride. Lots of history. Your guide & hijacker make or break your ride experience.
-
enjoy all the differing movie references, even in the queue before the ride starts, but especially in the movie snippets at the end, too!
-
Try to get seated in one of the front two rows of the car you're in, in order to get the best view. (Yes, it matters.)
-
The bandit/cowboy seen will be seen by the cars which leave from the bay closest to the marquee. Usually during busy seasons.
-
Omg this is such a sweet ride... It is nice, calm and it takes you back in time a must for all u movie buffs🎬🎥📹📷🎦🎭
-
As you're leaving the Egyptian tomb before the zombie scene, look to the left and look for the Mickey and Donald figures carved into the stone dressed as pharaohs, quite a sight!
-
Great air conditioning and a fun ride! Can be kinda cheesy but hey that's the fun of it!
-
Beautiful and a great way to know a little bit more about Cinema's History
-
The Great Movie ride is one of two attractions that were originally slated to be a pavilion in Epcot -- "Great Moments at the Movies" is the reason Hollywood Studios is here today!!
-
Always has and always will be my favorite. Take a tour through classic Hollywood!
-
This ride has the most hidden mickeys than any other in the entire park! And also contains one of the only 2 hidden Minnies!
-
A fun diversion if you want to get out of the heat and avoid lines for a few minutes. Ask for the bank robbery version of the ride.
-
Take your time in line: there are CLASSIC movie trailers that your kids might actually enjoy. A little history lesson on this ride.
-
Ask to sit in the front row next to the driver. That makes it easier to hear him/her and catch all of the jokes and the action.
-
Entertaining, interesting, this is more of an adult ride, it lasts about 25 minutes, also always waiting time apps to avoid long wait
-
An awesome ride that puts you right in the middle of scenes from famous movie classics.
-
Sit in the middle of the car for best view of all the action. In front rows, you have to turn your head to see.
-
Love this ride. It's a classic and a must when at the park
-
.. not bad but if you miss it then you will be okay too. Lines are long, ride is short. Good place to go if it is raining.
-
Such a classic attraction! Do not miss out on this one!
-
Avoid sitting in the front: you'll be sure to get a cramp in your neck and miss out on 70% of the ride.
-
Such an incredible ride, this is Disney magic
-
Hidden Mickey in the room where the tour guide leaves. Up to the left way up in the window.
-
The front car normally gets the western scene, second car gets the gangster scene.
-
Now featuring narration by TCM. The guides no longer tell you about each scene themselves.
-
Best ride at Disney for movie lovers! Wonderfully classic 👍
-
This was pretty cool. Very slow ride to let you enjoy the sceneries. How wonderful the world of movies.
-
Try to go when it's more full so you can get the Bandit line!
-
Love the Western scene!!! So much better than the gangster one!
-
The ride is a classic! Forever one of my favorite rides! 😍👍👏
-
Don't forget to bring a handkerchief! You will cry :)
-
Definitely worth the wait, the Alien & Indiana Jones scenes are the best.
-
As a worker once said, don't expect an update soon...it's the GREAT Movie Ride...not the CURRENT Movie Ride.
-
